In cooperation with Ehri BV, STOPAQ has started the supply of Factory Applied Coating Systems based on STOPAQ Technology for anti-corrosion purposes and tough, but flexible GRE (Glass Reinforced Epoxy) for Mechanical Protection Reasons in case of high soil stress situation and where cathodic protection is an issue.
The system is called FAST (Factory Applied Stopaq Technology). It can be applied in the shop, but also on-site.
The advantages are multiple, above all, the field applied coating at the joint is made of the same system as the line pipe coating.
