STOPAQ HIGH IMPACT SHIELD
A mechanical protective stabilized cross-lined Polyethylene backing, with a special adhesive for field joint application onshore and offshore.
Temperature max: 65 degrees Celsius
The High Impact Shield comes in a standard size of 66cm to act as mechanical protection layer over STOPAQ Wrappingband CZH.
During the shrink (gas heated) application of the Shield around the STOPAQ CZH coated surface, the shield will shrink in width and length. Shrinking ratio can be 10%.
The High Impact Shield can also be used for rehabilitation jobs as a Wrap around Sleeve in 30 degrees angle.
The High Impact Shield comes in rolls of 30m length and can be cutted to each diameter size of the pipe.

Temperature max: 100 degrees Celsius off-shore (80C onshore)
The High Impact Shield HT comes in a standard size of 66cm (30m length rolls) to act as mechanical protection layer over STOPAQ Wrappingband CZHT.
